From the Monterey Spartan Super.  Just came up from the underwater wall.

I have 24 years of experience in fitness as an athlete and trainer. After graduating from Archbishop Mitty high school, I accepted an athletic scholarship to study business and play baseball for San Jose State University (Go Spartans!) from 1998-2001. In 2000, the team went to the College World Series; a milestone for the baseball program.

Growing up my dream was to play professional baseball. I dedicated my childhood and part of my adult life to training and perfecting my game and, because of this, I was one of the lucky few to be drafted and play for the Houston Astros baseball organization. Much of my athletic inspiration comes from my father, also a San Jose State University alumni and former baseball player.

Since my baseball career ended, I've hiked Half Dome and got really into obstacle course races (12 completed so far), skiing, snowboarding and martial arts to keep my physical training exciting and above all, a lifestyle.

I love working with people of all athletic skills and backgrounds and feel my patience and mindful training approach allow those who I work with to make the most of their training and fitness goals.

This was taken from the base of Half Dome before going up the cables.  It's a lot more intimidating than it looks.  The whole trip was one of the most mentally and physically demanding experiences of my life and I loved every second of it!
